Calgary is again hosting the Exposure Photography Festival. This is a wide array of exhibitions in both public and private galleries that showcase the work of (mostly) Alberta photographers. More information can be found on www.exposurephotofestival.com along with a list of events.
I would encourage any of you who are in the Calgary area to take in a show or two. Last February I spent two days touring around Calgary and managed to take in 12 or 13 exhibitions. All were interesting, some were very intriguing and some were not at all to my taste – that’s the adventure of it all – you can find something for all photographic persuasions.
