Light Matters is the yearly convention of the Alberta Branch of the PPOC (Professional Photographers of Canada). The convention was supposed to be held in Lethbridge this year, but because of COVID they have had to change the convention to their first ever online convention.
They have gathered up a great group of speakers, and one of them was based on a recommendation by one of our photoclub members. So we are helping to sponsor the talk by COLE THOMPSON.
Because we are a sponsor of a speaker, photoclub members will be able to attend for the same price as PPOC members. The price is $49 + gst and eventbrite fees. I believe the total price works out to around $55.
We will be emailing out a discount code which you need to use when registering in order to get the special price. Please DO NOT share this code with other people.
Therefore, in order to make sure you are a member, you might need to pay your 2020 dues right away so that you can receive the code. Ralph had emailed everyone information on how to pay your 2020 dues… or you can find it under the Member info tab on the website.
We are also invited to attend the roundtable discussion with some of the speakers on Friday evening.
Go to the lightmatters website for more information and to register: www.lightmatters.ca
We hope to see you there!
