CAPA (the Canadian Association for Photographic Arts) will be offering a full day official photo judging course on October 8th of this year in Red Deer, Alberta, which is located precisely between Calgary and Edmonton for those who are not familiar with the City. The course will be presented by Allen Bargen of CAPA who will shortly be distributing a formal poster to camera clubs announcing the event. The Central Alberta Photographic Society (CAPS) will be hosting it, to be held at the Black Knight Inn in the City. Attendees will be presented with a printed judging manual in which additional notes can be made. The course will cost $135 for members of CAPA, and $175 for non-members. If your club is a CAPA member then all your members will qualify for the lower rate. As a special bonus, the CAPS club has obtained funding for a free dinner for participants during the lunch hour on that day.
